First Aid, CPR and ACLS in Denver and Aurora, COGood Compressions CPR & First Aid was founded in 2010 as a way to provide professional training at an affordable price to anyone who wants to help save a life. Good Compressions are the most important part of CPR and are critical during the first few minutes of a patient in arrest. Since roughly 80% of arrests happen in the home, it becomes necessary for everyone to learn this simple and effective intervention as soon as possible.

We offer three convenient locations around the Denver area at mulitple times, Students are sure to find a class that meets their busy schedules. If not, let us know. We will find a date and time to come to your office or home to certify you at your convenience. Don’t let time be an issue, sign up now or contact us today!

Our instructors come from all across the medical field. We employ EMTs, Paramedics, Dispatchers, Physician Assistants, and Nurses. This allows our instructors to identify with the material and share real life experiences.

Ron Pedigo

CPR and First Aid with Ron PedigoRon got his start in Fire/EMS in northern Virginia as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and EMT/Dispatcher for the largest private transport ambulance company in the region. He earned his Paramedic certication in 2007, when he then relocated to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. He has worked at local agencies as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Paramedic, CPR Instructor, and most recently, as an Air Medical Communications Specialist.

For the past 10 years, Ron has focused on dedicating his time in EMS, Communications, and education to the improvement of patient care. One of his deepest passions is improving outcomes of our number one killer of the adult population – cardiac arrest. Science has proven that the first 4-8 minutes of an arrest are the most critical, and unfortunately, EMS providers are not always on scene in this time frame.

Ron believes we can save more lives by putting CPR and Good Compressions in every home than by doubling or tripling the number of paramedics on the streets. In 2010 he created a company, Good Compressions CPR & First Aid, with the mission to improve survival rates of cardiac arrest patients in the Rocky Mountain region.

Since then Good Compressions has grown immensely and is now an American Heart Association training site offering BLS for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid,  and AHA Instructor training; and an American Safety and Health Institute training center that offers Wilderness First Aid, Child and Babysitter safety, ACLS, PALS, CPR Pro, community CPR/basic First Aid, Advanced First Aid, Bloodborne pathogens, Oxygen training, and ASHI instructor training.
